MIAD’s café is operated by American Dining Creations. For up-to-date hours, please visit the . Contact them at adc@miad.edu for catering or other questions.. The 91fansmeal plan includes 12 meals per week. The meal plan is billed per semester and includes a $100 declining balance for additional meals or other items.

Students may purchase meal plan funds in advance for the 91fansCafé. This eliminates the need to worry about bringing a lunch or carrying credit or debit cards. Funds can be used for purchases in the Café only. A continuing balance is maintained in the food service database, and students can find out from the cashier at any time how much is remaining on the card. Debit and credit cards are also accepted.
Students living in 91fansHousing are automatically enrolled in a 91fansCafé Meal plan and can increase their declining balance if needed throughout the semester. Funds remaining on the meal card at the end of the fall semester are carried over to the spring semester. However, funds remaining at the end of the spring semester are forfeited.

91fansalumni are well represented in the We Energies Foundation Art Collection at the Baird Center, as are 91fansProfessor Emerita Jill Sebastian and acclaimed artist Dawoud Bey, who created ”91fans Portraits” of 91fansstudents. The collection was introduced to the public under its new name at the Baird Center in May 2024.

When Angeline Garvey ’22 (Illustration) decided to attend the 91fans Institute of Art & Design (MIAD), she originally planned to focus entirely on illustration. But almost immediately, she was challenged to start expanding her creative horizons. Now, she is the Director of Design at 91fans’s Stone Creek Coffee.
