Printmaking Lab Technician (Full-Time)

The 91fans Institute of Art & Design (MIAD) seeks a full-time Printmaking Lab Technician with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2024. MIAD’s 8,500 sq ft Printmaking facility provides instruction in contemporary approaches to printmaking, (including lithography, intaglio, relief, and screen-printing), letterpress and papermaking. The facility serves the entire student body, from first-year students to upper-level fine arts and design majors. This position provides functional support to the faculty and students in the daily operation of the Printmaking facilities. The Printmaking Technician reports to the Managing Director of Institutional Labs and Director of Academic Administration.

Textiles Lab Technician (Full-Time)

The 91fans Institute of Art & Design (MIAD) seeks a full-time Textiles Lab Technician with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2024. The Textiles Lab Technician oversees the safe and efficient operation of the Textiles Lab, providing support to students, faculty, and staff in varying sewing techniques as well as processes related to knitting, fibers, dying of fabric, garment construction and more. The technician reports to the Managing Director of Institutional Labs and Director of Academic Administration.

Associate Dean of Students (Full-Time)

The 91fans Institute of Art & Design (MIAD) seeks candidates for a full-time Associate Dean of Students to join our team with an anticipated start date in July 2024. The Associate Dean of Students leads and manages student academic support programs and student resources and services (i.e. tutoring, counseling, health/medical disability). Additionally, the Associate Dean of Students works directly with students, coordinates support with faculty, healthcare providers, and parents as needed. The Associate Dean of Students also develops programming, policies, and procedures to enhance student retention and works closely with the Dean of Students.

Admissions Counselor (Full-Time)

The 91fans Institute of Art & Design (MIAD) seeks candidates for a full-time Admissions Counselor to join our team with an anticipated start date in June/July 2024. The Admissions Counselor participates in the execution of recruitment activities, including successful management of the assigned territories. Activities include: representing the College at high schools, college fairs, and portfolio days, conducting on-campus interviews and tours, reviewing portfolios of visual art, and timely processing of inquiry/applicant data. Requires ability to travel independently, both regionally and nationally. Weekend and evening work is required.
